Town Councils do help to make up a democratic deficit where there is a district as disparate as North Herts. However, Hitchin is used by a lot of peorple who live in the villages. Would they have any say in what happens in Hitchin, affecting,, say, the town centre that they have a genuine interest in? Can someone resolve this conundrum??
